CR Gibbs & Sons was formed in 1970 by Charles Gibbs and his son John. Based in the City of Sheffield, the company has gone from strength to strength over the years by employing good solid business values and practices and now has a reputation for quality and reliability.

We have a workforce of around 70 staff and about the same again as regular sub contractors who help to achieve a regular turnover each year of £6 million.

Gibbs has worked on a wide range of projects in the public sector such as hospitals, schools and universities.

This has widened to include renovation on churches into accommodation that have been widely acclaimed including the winning of awards for the quality and design. Most recently, Gibbs developed an historic building into modern loft apartments maintaining as many of the original features as possible.
